EcoConServ is seeking a qualified Environmental Management Specialist to assist with its work load including but not limited to the management of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) environmental health and safety audit Solid Waste Management Studies and other Environmental assignments. Key Responsibilities: •Manage technical projects such as environmental impact assessments environmental due diligence environmental audits environmental surveys solid waste management studies…etc. •For Environmental Impact Assessment studies: analyze the project impacts identify mitigation measures and prepare a complete environmental management plan. •Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including clients sub-contractors and consultants. •Assume responsibility for certain technical aspects of the projects including conducting field visits. •Participate and collaborate with international partners on a multitude of projects. •Compile and produce technical reports.
•Assist in the preparation of technical and financial proposals for various environmental consulting services such as EIAs for proposed development projects in various sectors. •Coordinate environmental and solid waste management projects including (human and financial) resourcing budgeting scheduling reporting quality management and day-to-day client liaison. •Perform field activities such as environmental surveys supervising environmental field work and attending public consultations. •Prepare ToRs for sub-contracted consultants. •Administer payment to sub-contracted consultants. •Coordinate projects with clients and sub-contracted consultants. Skills/Qualifications: •Bachelor or Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary environmental program in Environmental Sciences Engineering Science or a related field •5+ years of experience in environmental management preferably in consultancy firms •Excellent English and Arabic written and oral communication skills •Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize several assignments at one time while ensuring delivery within specific deadlines and budgets •Willing to travel within Egypt and abroad If you are interested and meet the above required qualifications please send your C.V. to [email protected] with the subject: Environmental Management Specialist
