Export Operations Manager
Job Description:
– Planning, Organizing and controlling export operation function, assigning work activities and programs, monitoring work flow, reviewing and evaluating work methods and procedures, and directing such activities to accomplish company goals & objectives
– Execute & manage Monthly OP “operational plan” and “Export Demand Plan”, forecast and developing overall export operation strategy by which leveraging customers loyalty/satisfaction to positively enhance export sales.
– Managing export shipments delivery schedules, Analysing customers’ requirements & continuously liaising with supply planning, production, packing and logistics departments (S&OP), to ensure right product, at right time, to right customer.
– Analyze 12 Month Forecast & help in developing export operating plan for existing and potential accounts in order to leverage export sales and to maintain company’s business plan
– Negotiate with Surveyors & stevedoring companies for competitive offers within Export Budget
– Establishing & developing solid export network, contracting for containers, vessels, transportation companies, customs, negotiating best rates & validity to maintain efficient export service, while positive contributing to P&L
– Establishing & developing export vendors integrated system, by which continuously insures vendors’ compatibility with monthly export plan –shipments schedule, deliveries’ and proactively manage & fill gaps.
– Assist in controlling export operation budget, maximize profitability and insure positive contribution to company P&L.
– Managing export operation team, planning and organizing their training matrix to ensure they are able to carrying out the full range of tasks required to such specified levels of competence
Academic and professional qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
8-10 years relevant experience in the same Field including at least 4 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
