Position Summary:
As a Customer Care Representative (Retail), you will handle calls from residential and commercial customers – answer their questions, retain them as a customer, provide a superior customer experience interaction, sale our products and cross-sell/upsell additional services to benefit their needs.

• Customer Care Representative (CCR) agent who is able to perform all customer service needs.
• CCR will be the primary point of contact for residential/business customers who contact the Customer Care Center by phone through the Customer Care line of business.
• The individuals employed in this position must be excellent problem solvers and must have exhibited a superior level of issue resolution capability through internal systems and process knowledge, and delivery of results.
• Individuals employed in this role should possess strong sales skills and must have the ability to effectively multi-task.
• CCR Agents are trained in and handle customer service and retention calls for one or more retail brands acquiring/retaining customers through multiple sales:
• Call Types (included but not limited to) – billing, service/solutions, complaint, retention activity (sales), up-sell value added products, account maintenance, etc…
• Agents are trained on and utilize multiple applications/systems to service customers – processing and viewing, follow up and issue tracking, courtesy credit and complaint resolution, and correspondence.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Experience
• 1+ years of experience working directly with customers
• 1-2 years in a call center environment preferred, but not required
Skills/Knowledge:
• Bilingual in English and French a plus, but not a requirement.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a positive customer interaction.
• Meet/exceed all monthly key performance metrics.
• Deliver accurate product information and serve as a knowledgeable resource for our customers.
• Basic math skills and analytical ability necessary to respond to billing inquiries.
• Strong interpersonal skills and respect for diversity.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Good communication skills, written and oral.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work on a computer and utilize telephone systems as required.
Working Conditions:
• Overtime may be required to accommodate workload and emergency call out.
• Hours of operation can range from 9:00am to 5:00pm Saturday-Thursday (Subject to change with prior notification).
