Accountant at EFG Hermes
Location: Smart Village
Duties/Tasks:
1.Record the daily journal entries on the system.
2.Assist in bank reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
3.Assist in handling and monitoring employees’ accounts (loans & advances – mobiles – corporate cards – expense reports-checks).
4.Handle the department’s paperwork and filing.

5.Ensure compliance with the firm’s policies and procedures.
6.Ensure that all reporting complies with the firm’s policies and procedures.
7.Maintain accurate department records.
8.Cooperate with colleagues and departments to meet the department’s goals.

Requirements:
-Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) – fresh graduate. Advanced degree preferred.
-Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
-Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Applications.
-Good command of Arabic and English.
-Good communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
-Ability to build partnerships and work well in teams.
-Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.
-Ensure deliverable are always of a high quality.
-Detail oriented; works with a high degree of accuracy.
-Flexible in handling new tasks.
-Able to work under pressure.
-Adherence to business attire and high sense of commitment.
-Align performance for success.
