Backend PHP developer vacancy (Kuwait)
Job brief
We are looking for a PHP developer who is dedicated to his craft, writes code that he is proud of and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.
You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.
Responsibilities
• Write “clean”, well designed code
• Produce detailed specifications
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow industry best practices
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• B. Sc. In Computer Science, Information Systems or IT related degree.
• 1+ years of practical experience in PHP development for large-scale, web-based applications using at least one of the major MVC PHP Frameworks like codeigniter, laravel, symphony or other frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases – MySql is a must .
• Solid Experience building RESTful API based.
• Experience with parsing and rendering XML and JSON
• Have Experience in Node.js framework.
• Experience in social media API integration like Twitter, Facekoob … etc
• Front-end skills is a plus
• Have knowledge dealing with SOAP API based.
• Have ability to dealing and integrating with existing systems.
• Ability to work in a team and to complete tasks according to schedule.
• Experience in ASP.net and .net backend is plus.
