Job Description Details :
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the day to day control and discipline of shift technicians, fueling labors including holidays authorization, holiday cover, sick cover, return to work, interviews, coaching and identifying training needs.
• Works in a ‘Hands-on’ role alongside the technicians whenever necessary.
• Assists in the preparation of method statement and risk assessment of the safe maintenance of equipment.
• Completes a shift report detailing all work completed and noting any other incidents worthy of reporting.
• To apply maintenance system through work requests and work orders and updates all shifts activities on computerized maintenance Oracle system.
• Ensures his shift team follows the accurate stores booking out procedures
• Ensures that the docks regulations/health and safety at work act are carefully followed and incorporate risk assessment in working systems are applicable.
• Ensures that only approved employees have access to the HV power systems and that the interlock system is regularly inspected to ensure fault free operations.
• To investigate all accidents to personnel and equipment whenever there is injury to personnel or not, or damage to equipment or not, and ensure that suitable reports are completed and forwarded to relevant personnel/committee.
• To have a close liaison with the operations department to plan when there are heavy anticipated operating workloads, or periods of necessary maintenance, and conclude priority ratings.
• To be highly flexible to cover annual leaves, sickness, etc. within the department.
• Is responsible for executing maintenance/ technical malfunction in a safe way.
• Container Terminals experience.
• PLC/Medium voltage experience.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience.
• Alexandria resident is a must.
• Working in shift pattern.
