College degree (computer science, information systems, engineering) or equivalent experience in a related field required.
Minimum of 3 -5 years of hands on experience in transactional mail or production printing environments with exposure to and understanding of LCDS, Metacode, Postscript and/or AFP.
Ability to program in an advanced language (C#, C++, Java, .net, VB, VBScript, etc.).
Proficient in PC operations, MS Office applications including MS Project, network/modem/internet communications, desktop and server hardware and operating systems (Novell, Microsoft, Unix).
Familiarity with SQL Database queries, reports and maintenance in Windows and Linux client/server environments.
Familiarity with change management concepts, ability to adhere to standards, strong written/verbal and technical writing skills.
Ability to define design and implement standards and project management preferred.

· PlanetPress Production training
· MCSE, MCP certifications preferred
